There 2 ways for item nutrition to feed into Sanity:
If nutritional information is coming for
...
Speq
Example Brands: BK UK, BK DE
If nutritional information is being
...
added directly in MDM
Example Brands: TH CA/US, BK US, BK CA, BK CH, PLK US, PLK CA, BK ZA
Item Set Up in MDM
When QA resources in RBI or in the FZ team (for intl markets) create a commodity in spec they will add the nutritional information for that commodity based in the quantity of the item.
Example: Tomato
Once that commodity is approved in Spec it will get synched into MDM
Example: Commodity Tomato
When the content team creates an item they will add build information for the build and quantity per commodity
The content team will create a modifier with that commodity assigning the appropriate modifier multipliers and quantity
Information will be added fro MDM to Sanity through a METL sync
Nutritional Information in Sanity
If nutritional information is coming for
...
Speq
If coming from
...
Speq all nutritional information will be coming form the ingredient level from Spec
If nutritional information is being uploaded through Nutritional Excel File
If coming from Excel file item nutritional information will come from the item level from excel and modifier nutrition will come from the ingredient nutrition in the excel
In Sanity user will see in the nutrition section of the item the following information
-Nutritional value for each condiment that is not in the modifier group
Example: In this case: Bread + Whopper Patty = 467.04 Cal, 22.06 Fat …
Then each modifier will contain their appropriate nutrition as well in the nutrition section
The FE will add the value of the nutrition of the item + the value of the default modifiers nutrition information
Bread + Whopper Patty = 467.04 Cal + Mayo = 157.9 + Ketchup = 17.3 Lettuce = 2.97 + Tomato =5.96 + Onion = 3.5 + Pickle = 2.4 = 657 Cal
