Overview
What are Restaurant Groups?
Restaurant Groups allow you to create groups of restaurants to apply offers or have a restaurant grouping in the Digital Operations portal.
In case you want to create fragmented offers that are not applicable at a national level, but rather to a specific set of stores, this feature will allow you to do so.
As well it is useafull as you can view which restaurant groups restaurant belongs to in the Digital operations portal and filter by and apply changes.
It is particularly useful if your Franchisees operate with different dynamics among them or if you create regional marketing campaigns.
Setting it up
User is in staging sanity environment
User is in menu folder and selects restaurant groups
User creates a restaurant group with the restaurants they would like to apply the offers in and will name the restaurant group. ** Remember to click publish after you finish
User will go to the offers folder (Menu → Legacy Offers → Offers) and create an offer like any other offer
User will set up a ruleset in the offer called Restaurant Group Restrictions, and will add the restaurant group or groups he would like this offer applied in. ** Multiple rulesets can still be set up.
If this offer requires a specific disclaimer different from the general one, user will add it in the More info section within the offer. ** Remember to click publish after you finish adding all the information
User will add offer in App Data → Menu Configurations → Sorted Offers to make sure it is displayed
