Options

These are the modifiers of the item. For a Plant-based Whopper, those are the Plant-based Patty, Cheese, Ketchup, etc.

  • In BK DE we also added the option to show Gluten Sources as part of Allergen configuration

    • In the items document in Sanity, you can input the sources of Gluten in a text box (regardless of how many there are i.e. wheat, barley, rye)

    • This will then show in the App with the structure Gluten (Wheat, Barley, Rye)

Settings

You can limit the amount of this item that can be added to the cart. In that case, the guest will face a scenario where no more units can be added after a certain amount. We don’t allow No more than 9 units of the same items item are allowed to be added into cart.

Other Selections

For easiness of explanation, all the other selections you can make throughout the Items file have been grouped in this part of the guide.

  • Reward eligible will allow an item to be added to your Loyalty ProgramPromotion Artiaga, Patricia

  • Show in Static Menu will allow displaying the item in the Static Menu, before a Service Mode or store is selected. This is the equivalent to your National Menu, but it does not mean all of the items are available for purchase for Delivery or Pickup, for example.

  • Hide Nutrition Legal Disclaimer will hide the nutrition legal disclaimer
