This pages summarizes how to set up raffles leveraging the RBI Approved CRM Stack

Deployment Steps

Step 1 - Create a prompt for opted out users

  • Create a message for opted out users to prompt them to opt in

  • See documentation here: IAM Prompt

Step 2 - Email for existing users

  • Create an email for your opted in users with a scheduled delivery

  • The call to action (CTA) should redirect to the app

  • Under link management, remember to enable “Link Alias” for the CTA link

Step 3 - Email for new users

  • Leverage the same email template you have created for existing user

  • Change the entry criteria to “ACTION BASED”

  • Select the users who have changed their subscription status. This will allow you to target both:

    • New users who are opted in

    • Existing users who changed their communication preference from opted out to opted in after you have launched the first email

  • Remember to limit the campaign duration according to the raffle lenght

Step 4 - Confirmation Email

  • It’s best practice to send a confirmation email to all the users who have agreed to participate to the raffle

  • The email entry criteria should be “ACTION BASED” based on link CTA clicking

Step 5 - Identify Winners

  • Create a segment of all users who have clicked on the link alias (or that have received the confirmation email)

  • Randomly extract the # of winners according to the raffle criteria

Step 6 - Send email to winners

  • Send email to the winner email address

  • If you aim to get any confirmation from the user, make sure to leverage a prompt CTA configuration

  • Configure the email Action to “ SEND EMAIL” and include below your contact details and pre-defined reply to increase conversion
