Support Offers are used by the franchisee’s customer support team as a remediation option for customer complaints.

Using support offers is a good alternative to refunds, since the restaurant doesn’t lose any money and it encourages users to places future orders.

Generally speaking there’s 3 kinds of support offers:

  1. Fixed amount ($) Discount Offer (e.g. 10$ off)

  2. Variable (%) Discount Offer (e.g. 50% off)

  3. Free Item Offer (e.g. Free Whopper)

To configure those items,

  1. Create a new offer and link it to an Option with the applicable incentive

  2. Add the Requires Assignment ruleset and set the value to yes. If this is not done, the offer will appear by default in the Offer section

  3. Enable the For Support toggle

  4. Decide if you want the Support Coupon to only work on Mobile Orders, In-Restaurant or both

  5. Add the Offer to the Sorted Offers section in Feature Offers

  6. The offer will now appear in the Support Tool Offers section and can be assigned to a specific user. It will appear on the relevant user’s Offer section and will be redeemable only once
