Overview

What is included in Restaurant?

Restaurant documents include all the relevant information about a store, such as:

  • Service Modes enabled (Mobile Ordering, Delivery, Drive-thru,…)

  • Geolocation store information (lat / long, address)

  • Hours of operation

  • (…)

Automatic MDM Synchronization

Restaurants must not be created in Sanity, as they will be automatically synchronized from MDM. You do not need to move them around environments or barely do any work on these documents.

However, you can verify, for debugging purposes, if the information is correct.

There is one exception of data that can be edited in this document, as explained below.

FZ Information

Some countries are required by law to display in the checkout page the legal information of the service provider to the client. In this case, the information of the Franchisee operating the store.

Adding information to this field will create a link to a modal in the checkout page, as seen below.
