What is a Reward Category?

Each reward category contains multiple rewards, for example the category for 300 Loyalty points will contain all the rewards that are available to be redeemed for that amount of points. Reward Categories represent the way you want to group rewards in the list view. It could be point categories (as in the example below) or it could be menu categories.

Adding Reward Categories

  • In Sanity go to Reward Categories folder and click on the “pencil” on top of the page

Label

The label represents how the name of that rewards category will show on the app.

Please note the word “Coins” is controlled by the Lokalise string “Points”. It can be changed for any other word or have an empty space (“ “) in case you would like to only show the label.

Validations

Validations represent the range that rewards must have to be in this specific category

If you add a 400 point reward to the category defined as ‘0-250’, Sanity will throw an error and will not let you publish

Image Description

The fields Image and Image Description were deprecated. Please leave these two fields empty.

Rewards

List all the rewards you would like to show in this category. The order in which the rewards are listed within the categories is the order they will appear on screen.

Publish

Click on “Publish” to have the changes done to the category be saved.
