What is Appsflyer?

Appsflyer is a mobile linking and attribution platform. Deep links can be created to ensure that users are redirected to the correct destination, for example redirecting a mobile user who has not yet installed the app to the correct app store corresponding to their OS. The impact of campaigns can be measured with attribution for paid, owned, and earned channels.

“Attribution modeling is a way of measuring how effective marketing campaigns and channels are at influencing people to take a desired action (such as making a purchase).”

Main Features

  • Onelink: create deep links to send existing app users to a specific page in the app and to direct new users without the app, first to the app store to download the app, and then to a specific page in the app.

  • Analyze: view default dashboards providing an overview of campaign performance and app behaviour. Add customised dashboards, selecting one or more widgets containing user acquisition metrics.

Why Appsflyer?

Appsflyer has a global market share of 65%, with their focus concentrated in the four areas of ‘Privacy’, ‘Insights’, ‘Customer obsession' and 'Innovation’.

How do I get access?

Access is directly managed by each Franchisee. Please contact a colleague who has an account with an Admin role who can add new users.

Key RBI personnel also have access to provide operational support as needed.

Event Tracking Flow

Attribution & re-engagement events are collected by Appsflyer and sent to the Customer Data Platform (mParticle), which then forwards them to Amplitude to be used in analytics reports.

User interaction and conversion events are sent from the customer data platform to Appsflyer to optimise media campaigns.
