Oracle Integration Readiness

To ensure that all required software integrations are working as expected before initiating any rollouts.

  • In-store ordering test cases are passing in the BK UK Test Lab.

  • Loyalty integration test cases (including Pay at Counter) are passing in the BK UK Test Lab.

  • The test cases above include Oracle and Acrelec.

Oracle Rollout (TBC)

To replace NCR as the POS provider for BK UK, with like-for-like features compared to today.

  • All live stores that currently use NCR as their POS to be using Oracle.

  • All Acrelec kiosks that are currently integrated with Toshiba to be integrated with Oracle instead

– Alex re-built menu in Dec using priceSeq 1 and 2 and defSeq 1.

  • Items – e.g. Whopper item

    • defSeq 1 (defSeq 2 still exists but it’s disabled)

    • priceSeq 1 for in-store and 2 for delivery

  • Combos – e.g. Whopper meal

    • 1 PLU per meal.

    • Combo has 3 groups - whopper, drink and side.

    • Sizing is attached to the drink and side.

  • Modifiers

    • No long use “No lettuce” modifier. Instead use “Lettuce” modifier and control amounts through text prefix.

    • E.g. “lettuce” PLU is associated to a lettuce class, which is a member of the condiment groups (e.g. Whopper build)

  • Offers – not started

  • Rewards – not started
