Overview

What are Nutrition and Allergens?

Nutrition and Allergen information are linked to Combos and Items in the Menu to provide users with more data on the products' ingredients and quantities.

Look and Feel

This is how the menu item looks like when a user click on it - right next to the price we show total Calories for the item or Calorie range for Combos.

When a user scrolls down to the bottom of the Item in this screen user will see Nutritional Information option where he could click to get all the Item’s nutritional data.

Once the user clicks on the option they will be taken to the following screen where they can scroll through all the Item’s Nutritional Information & Allergens

Editing Nutrition & Allergens

For markets with MDM menu sync, Nutritional & Allergen Information is created and edited directly through the MDS Portal

Create the new record of nutrition information in the menu item

  • Within the MDS portal in Product Master Data,  go to Menu Item

  • Once the menu item to add the information is open, find the Nutrition information table

  • Now click on the + button to add the new record

  • Now fill all the required information, and save & close

Note: To create a new record or update in the Nutrition Information table, it is necessary to request the role [PROD - Nutrition] and specify the brand and region.
