Overview

The in restaurant ordering flow happens when guests arrive to the restaurant and would like to use an offer. Offers can be added to the guest’s basket when placing a dine-in, table service or takeaway order placed at the Kiosk or front counter (POS), or a drive-thru order placed at the POS.

There are two ways to add offers to a guest’s basket:

  1. By using the POS or Kiosk user interface, when the POS/Kiosk have the ability to list offers

  2. By selecting the offer(s) in the guest app and entering or scanning the offer code in a POS or Kiosk.

  • Guest downloads the app or opens the web app on their device’s browser

  • Guest does not create an account and goes to their offer’s list

  • Guest chooses an offer and clicks on “Redeem In Restaurant”

  • Guest sees modal explaining that offer code will only be available for 15 minutes

  • Guest goes to a Kiosk or Cashier at the front counter or at drive thru and scans / inputs their offer code

  • Guest adds other items to the cart and checks out in the Kiosk or Cashier at the front counter or at drive-thru

  • At the kiosk, guest scans or inputs offer code in the coupon section and unlocks offer

  • Guest adds other menu items in the kiosk to the cart

Note: scanning in a POS or Kiosk support offers and rewards only. Regular menu items cannot be scanned.

  • Guest checks out and pays for order at the kiosk

  • If Loyalty is active, guest sees updated loyalty points in the app

  • Guest downloads the app or opens the web app on their device’s browser

  • Guest creates an account (in markets that have open offers or guest checkout available, this step can be skipped)

  • Guest either:

    • Chooses an offer(s) and clicks on “Redeem In Restaurant” OR

    • Accesses the “My Code” page to access their loyalty code (only available if Loyalty has been activated)

  • Guest goes to a Kiosk or Cashier at the front counter or at drive thru and scans / inputs their loyalty code

  • Guest adds other items to the cart and checks out in the Kiosk or Cashier at the front counter or at drive-thru

  • At the Kiosk, guest sees page to sign in to loyalty by scanning or inputting loyalty code

  • Once guest scans or inputs loyalty code, guest receives a successful confirmation modal in the app

  • Guest adds other menu items in the kiosk to the cart

Note: scanning in a POS or Kiosk support offers and rewards only. Regular menu items cannot be scanned.

  • Guest checks out and pays for order at the kiosk

  • If Loyalty is active, guest sees updated loyalty points in the app
