Overview

Guests are able to create accounts on the RBI platform, which allows them to sign in, earn and spend loyalty points, keep track of their orders and save their payment cards. To register, guests need to provide an email address, a phone number, or link a social account such as Facebook (all of these are configurable per market).

The RBI platform does not use or store passwords. Instead, it relies on one-time passcodes (OTP) sent to the guest’s email address of mobile number.

Since guest accounts store personal data such as their email address, mobile number, date or birth and others, they are required to comply with GDPR with regards to Privacy Rights and Cookie Consent. Both are managed with a third party application called OneTrust.
