Engagement - Linking & Attribution (AppsFlyer)
Contents
Appsflyer Overview & Main Features
Appsflyer is a mobile linking and attribution platform. Deep links can be created to ensure that users are redirected to the correct destination, for example redirecting a mobile user who has not yet installed the app to the correct app store corresponding to their OS. The impact of campaigns can be measured with attribution for paid, owned, and earned channels.
“Attribution modeling is a way of measuring how effective marketing campaigns and channels are at influencing people to take a desired action (such as making a purchase).”

Deferred deep links can route users to specific content through an install. The link will first redirect to the App Store or Play Store, and once the app is downloaded and opened, the user will be taken to the content they expect.
Traditional deep links route users to app content as long as the app is already installed when the link is opened.
Possibility to create banners to drive app opens and app downloads with pre-existing templates
