OneLink: Creating a deep link
Appsflyer is the mobile attribution and deep linking solution for RBIberia markets
This document describes the essential steps and information needed to create a deep link in Appsflyer OneLink Management for your apps on RBI’s technology platform
Please also refer to Create a OneLink link for your campaigns for further details on all available options
Adding a link
Select OneLink Management under the Engage section to create a new link
Select + New link
Select Custom experience
Insert the Media source name
Insert the Campaign name to differentiate this campaign from other campaigns under the same media source
Please add the prefix onelink_ before the media source for your apps to recognize the link
e.g. ‘onelink_google’ as shown below
Deep linking & redirection
For the deep linking to work, the Deep link value
must follow the following pattern:
If the page is on reward/offers
The
Deep link value
should be reward_offers
If the page is on /menu/section-4b7095ec-df0b-4d93-874e-7eec5f9cb758
the
Deep link value
should be menu_section-4b7095ec-df0b-4d93-874e-7eec5f9cb758
Insert the optional Additional deep link value If your deep linking requires more than one in-app experience (for example, you want to direct users to a product, and separately offer them a discount)
The Android and iOS fallback should be the URL scheme; burgerking:// or popeyes://
Please only use Long URLs in campaigns, do not use Short URLs!
Additional Parameters
Please add a custom additional parameter ‘af_force_deeplink=true’ to all iOS deep links as recommended by Appsflyer (please see the screenshot below)
af_force_deeplink: Used to force an iOS app to open using the af_dp URI scheme. Without this, the app won't open using the URI scheme
