Overview

What are Sections?

Sections compose all the tiles seen at the homepage of our menu (see image below).

Sections contain pickers, combos, and/or items.

In PLK, they are also used inside other sections to lead to more items - more info here.

Name

This is the name that will be displayed for this section. This name needs to be approved by your marketing & legal teams beforehand

Carousel Image

This is the example image that will appear on the carousel when you click on a section. This image should not have a background

Image

This is the example image that will be displayed on the menu as a tile (/menu)

Image Description

This will be used as the alt or aria-label attribute for the image (an alt attribute is what shows if the image is unable to load). This is required for accessibility purposes

Kiosk Image

This is the example image that will be displayed on the menu as a tile (/menu) on rbi kiosks only, the image must be transparent

If your restaurants' kiosk is provided by a third-party vendor, you can disregard this

 

Kiosk Image Description

This will be used as the alt or aria-label attribute for the image (an alt attribute is what shows if the kiosk image is unable to load). This is required for accessibility purposes

 

Daypart

This will be used to display the section only on the dayparts you have selected. If you haven’t selected any it will appear in all. To learn more about this click here

Show in Static Menu

Please toggle this on in case you want to this section to appear on the national menu (i.e., menu we see in /menu when we haven’t selected a restaurant yet)
