What is Swapping?

Swapping is Loyalty benefit where guests can upsize one side or one drink per day at the checkout.

What is Swap Mapping?

Swap Mapping is where you set which items you actually allow to be swapped for which other items. For example, here you will state that you allow a Small Diet Coke to be swapped to a Medium Diet Coke.

  • Swap Coupons

    • Must Create a swap mapping (click the + at the top left corner > swap mapping)

    • Identify the starting item, and the promotional item to swap to

    • IMPORTANT: Make sure that all starting items in the swap mapping match the items in the cart requirements ruleset for this offer. This is essential for the Swap to work

 

Swap Modal Content

Any time a user is eligible for a swap style offer, this content will be used (ie: BK free loyalty upsize)

The items will be populated based on the swap mapping listed as the incentive for the offer itself - here we are just specifying the text

We have a set of items that the brand would like to be ‘upsize-able’ to loyalty members, who can take advantage of this program benefit once per day

 

 

A core benefit of the BK loyalty program is the ability to upsize one side and one drink per day. We dont want to confuse our Guests on what size will be charged to them, so we want to show in the cart the meal’s size that the Guest is paying for and also highlight the upsized item.
