Systemwide Promos (Bonus Points)

To create a new promotion, do NOT duplicate a preexisting, published promo

 

Content:

Loyalty Engine ID: a value set automatically - no need to edit this field

Promo Message: This will only show when a multiplier type promo is available to the user. Shows in the banner at top corner of the page, so must be concerned with character length

Notifications: Follow details on notifications page

 

Mechanics:

There are two types of promos: Multiplier Type and Bonus points type

  • Multiplier is a multiplier on your entire cart. The best multiplier promo that the user qualifies for will be applied to their cart automatically at checkout

  • Bonus Points are applied to your total after the multiplier, and the user will earn an unlimited number of Bonus points promos on their cart as long as they qualify.

  • Points earning calc: round down ((dollars * points per dollar)* best multiplier promo) + (points promo * times earned) + (points promo * times earned)…etc.

  • You cannot mix points multiplier and Bonus points in one promotion, you will need to choose either/or.

 

How to select an Offer for the Systemwide Promotion:

  1. Go to the“Systemwide Promotion” section under the “Mechanics” Tab and select + Add Item

     

  2. From the pop-up list, scroll to the bottom and select Incentive Requirements

     

  3. Click on + Add Item

     

  4. Search for the Offer you’d like to attach the Systemwide Promo to

     

  5. After selecting the Offer and Finalizing all Mechanics, you can go ahead and click on Publish
