Master Restaurant

The Master Restaurant purpose is to redirect the order from the child restaurant to the master restaurant whenever the child restaurant is closed/unable to fulfill the order by any reason.

• Child Restaurant: is a single restaurant assigned, as a child, to a master restaurant. One child restaurant can have only one master restaurant assigned to it.

• Master Restaurant: is a restaurant which has one or more child restaurant assigned to it. One master restaurant can have 1-n child restaurants assigned to it.

Note 1: any restaurant can become a master restaurant when:

1. It has no master restaurant assigned to it.

2. It has, at least, one child restaurant assigned to it.
   
   

Note 2: once any/all of the child restaurant are closed and the Master Restaurant is open, it will cover for the child restaurants, and will be in charge to receive its orders and do the delivery.

Once the user is logged in to the FZ Portal and clicks on the “Delivery” tab in the top bar, and then select the “Master Restaurant” sub-tab, the page called “Master Restaurant” will be shown with two sections:

• Late Night Restaurants (after 7pm): showing the list of restaurants and its links for the night shift.

• Late Afternoon Restaurants (until 7pm): showing the list of restaurants and its links for the afternoon shift.

Open

When clicking the "View" button, you will be able to see the detail of this restaurant showing on the right sidebar how many restaurants are linked to this restaurant (on this case none). You can also have the visibility on the map, that will show the delivery area for the linked restaurants and the close restaurants that are not linked.

Below the map, you can see a list of restaurants that you can link with this restaurant with the button Link

Open

If you click on Link button, you will see that this restaurant will appears on the Late Night sidebar. This means that if this restaurant closed or unavailable, the linked restaurant will can attend the order.
