Bonus Points Promotions

Systemwide Promotion for User’s to earn extra points

Burger king is launching a new Vegan Whopper? You want user’s to try the new Whopper and reward them for doing so? Let’s set up a Systemwide Promotion where the Users can earn 250 Bonus Points for ordering the new Vegan Whopper.

  1. Navigate to the Systemwide Promotions Tab on Sanity
    Order-Level Content ➡️ Loyalty ➡️ Incentives ➡️ Systemwide Promotions

  2. Click on the Icon to create a new Systemwide Promotion

  3. Complete the content as desired

  4. Under Mechanics, You will set the Bonus Points to be awarded to the User for ordering the Item

  5. Next you will define the rules for the Systemwide Promotion. These rulesets will set the validations for the Systemwide Promotion itself and also the actions the user must complete in order to be eligible for the Systemwide Promo.

  6. Firstly, for most campaigns its important to set the start and end date. This can be done using the Loyalty Between-Dates rule.

  7. For this Promotion, the User must order a Vegan Whopper to earn the Bonus Points. So we will set a Cart Requirements Ruleset which contains the Vegan Whopper.

  8. Now that we’ve configured the content, set the amount of Bonus Points and configured the rulesets for the promotion, we can hit Publish for the Promotion to go Live!

 

Points Multiplier for a User’s Birthday Order

Birthdays are a special day and what’s better than earning 2X Points on your Birthday Order! Similar to the the Bonus Points Promotion above, for this promotion we will configure a Points Multiplier Birthday Promotion for Users.

  1. Navigate to the Systemwide Promotions Tab on Sanity
    Order-Level Content ➡️ Loyalty ➡️ Incentives ➡️ Systemwide Promotions

  2. Click on the Icon to create a new Systemwide Promotion

  3. Complete the content as desired

  4. Under Mechanics, You will set the Points Multiplier to be awarded to the User for their order. In this use-case we will put 2 since we want the user to earn 2X the points.

  5. Next you will define the rules for the Systemwide Promotion. These rulesets will set the validations for the Systemwide Promotion itself and also the actions the user must complete in order to be eligible for the Systemwide Promo.

  6. For this Promotion, it has to be the User’s birthday (set on their Profile when registering or after) for them to earn 2X points on their order. We will use the Birthday Multiplier Ruleset to set this validation.

  7. Now that we’ve configured the content, set the Points Multiplier and configured the rulesets for the promotion, we can hit Publish for the Promotion to go Live!

 

Configuring an Incentive’s Notification Content

This section will be a walkthrough on how you can configure the Incentive specific Notifications you want to show in the Loyalty Notifications Widget

  1. Navigate to the Incentive you would like to configure the Notification for, for this example we will use a SW Promo.
    Order-Level Content ➡️ Loyalty ➡️ Incentives ➡️ Bonus Points Promotions ➡️ Systemwide Promotions

  2. Next, select the Incentive you want to configure the notification for and scroll down to the Notifications Details Tab within the Content Section

    1. This section is where you will configure the content of the Notification

      • Title

      • Description

      • Image

      • Path - The Path is the page to which the user is taken when they interact with the Notification (i.e. /Menu will take users to the Menu page)

  3. Fill out the required fields mentioned above

  4. Once the content is filled out, you can hit Publish

  5. Next you will Navigate Back to the Widget mentioned in the above section

    1. Order-Level Content ➡️ Loyalty ➡️ Loyalty Configs ➡️ Feature Loyalty UI

  6. Here you will add the configured Incentive to the Widget through the steps mentioned in Step 5 of the above section.

  7. The Incentive will now show on the FE to the User
