Description

The functionality developed adds a new field below the support form. According to the GDPR, it is essential that the customer is always aware of how, where and by whom their data will be accessed. To this end, there is a terms and conditions page that should be visible to the customer when browsing the support page.

This is a temporary flag that is show the support policy cover component in the support page.

Sanity

To add or update an existing policy cover, follow these steps in sanity:

  1. Navigate to the SupportData document. To access it, go to CTG Config > Support > Support Data.

  2. Within the document, locate the field labeled "Support Policy Cover".

  3. If there is no completed document in this field, click on the "Add New Item" button to display the editable document.

These steps will allow you to add or update the policy cover as necessary.

After clicking on the document, a modal will appear for you to fill in.

The fields are as follows:

  • Disclaimer Title: Title of the "Support Policy Cover" document, displayed only on the Sanity screen.

  • Disclaimer Description: Description of the "Support Policy Cover" document, displayed only on the Sanity screen.

  • Disclaimer Content: Content where all texts will be displayed on the web/app.

  • Translation: Content where all fields must be filled in according to each language.

  • Font Size: Font size of the Policy Cover text (default empty). It is not recommended to change the default value.

  • Padding Top: Top spacing (empty default). It is not recommended to change the default value.

  • Padding Right: Spacing to the right (default: 10). It is not recommended to change the default value.

  • Padding Bottom: Bottom spacing (default: 10). It is not recommended to change the default value.

  • Padding Left: Spacing on the left (default: 10). It is not recommended to change the default value.

  • Border Radius: Policy Cover rounding (default: 5). It is not recommended to change the default value.

After making the changes, click on "Publish" to send the changes to the web/app.

Remember that this field only accepts one document. If you have created more than one document, you will not be able to save the page, as the "Support Policy Cover" field only allows one document.

Web/App

At this stage, you don't need to make any additional settings. Just make sure that the document was created in Sanity and that the translations are correct. You will then be able to see the "Support Policy" component right after the support form.

 

The translation of the "Policy Cover" field will be based on the language selected in the application.
