Offer discounts allow guests to get a order-level % discount, order-level $ off, product-level % discount or a product-level $ off. By introducing discounts we want to provide higher variation of benefits for guests to gain. With this functionality we hope to improve engagement and acquisition of guests in the app.

Setting up a Product Specific Offer Discount

Create a new Offer following this guide: Offers - Configuration Guide
Under mechanics add a new Discount under Incentives

Then add the discount value (a number from 1 to 100), add the type of the discount (either Percentage or Amount), and below Apply the discount to a Productchoose the item or combo that this discount will be applied to. Lastly, click Publish

Now in the Offer document you will see your Discount added below Incentives. Input all other offer fields and click Publish.

You will see the 50% discount be applied only to this specific product at checkout

For NCR and Oracle POS vendors, ensure to add the discount ID in the PLU of the offer that contains the discount.

Setting up an Offer that Discounts the full Cart

Create a new Offer following this guide: Offers - Configuration Guide
Under mechanics add a new Discount under Incentives

Then add the discount value (a number from 1 to 100) and add the type of the discount (either Percentage or Amount). Leave the field Apply the discount to a Product empty and click Publish
