Settings

The settings page allows the franchisee to do some adjusts related to Delivery Management Platform configuration. The meaning of each configuration is better described below.

You can change the configurations needed and then click on Save changes button.

Open

DMP Credentials

This component allows the user to change the restaurant password used to login on Expeditor Tablet portal. When the restaurant is created on DMP (Delivery Management Platform), it will have a default password, so it is always good to change at least one time this password, this way we can guarantee the security of the portal.

Open

When you click on this button, it will open a sidebar, where you can place a new password and save it. As you can see, it is the only case that has its own save button. This is because the password is saved in a difference place to guarantee the security of the data.

Notifications

In the Notification box, you can check the Notifications that you would like to receive on DOP related to the restaurants that you have access.

To better explain the Notifications:

• Delivery Area changed: you will receive this notification if the default Delivery Area of some restaurant that you have access changed.

• Service Paused: you will receive this notification if the service of the restaurant was paused on DMP. For this case the notification will specify also the reason of the pause and will notify as well when the service is resumed again.

• ETA changed: You will receive this notification when the ETA changed on DMP and the new value for the ETA.

• POS Offline: You will receive the notification when the POS for the restaurant is changed to OFFLINE and a another notification when changes to ONLINE again.

After to turn on the Notifications, it will be shown as the image below, in the right side of the header, with the button represented by a bell icon. This icon will have a red bullet if you didn’t read the Notification yet.

DMP Features

Here you can turn on or turn off the functionalities that can be used on Expeditor Tablet. For example: on the box below it is turned on only the Auto Prepare feature, this means that the auto prepare button will be available on the Tablet for this restaurant. The options that are turned off will not be shown as options to use on Tablet.

Complaints and Compensations

Here you can turn on or turn off the possibility of the restaurant to ask for a voucher or a refund in a complaint opened on DMP. So, if the options are allowed, the Tablet will be able to ask for a Voucher or a Refund in the proper cases. Example: the voucher option will be available for up to 3 euros compensation and a bigger value of compensation it will be available the refund option.

Hybrid Delivery

On this component, you will be able to enable or disable the Last Mile Providers for the restaurants and the available payment methods for each provider. The enabled Last Mile Providers will be available on Expeditor Tablet in case the restaurant does not have enough drivers to attend the demand and wants to assign to an external provider.

As you can see in the image below, Catcher provider have an additional field called “Location ID”. This is an Catcher internal information to identify the restaurant and is required. If provided the wrong ID, creation of a Last mile delivery on Catcher will fail.

Delivery Settings

On this component you can set the maximum number of orders that a driver can take at a time. Note that this number can be overided for each driver, but this configuration on the driver cannot be more than the restaurant limit.

When using the Auto Fire functionality, you can specify here the distance from the restaurant that will trigger the auto fire to send the order to production. Since this value is required to this functionality, it will always have the default value of 1500 meters, but is possible to change here if necessary.

It is also possible to change the ETA for the restaurant and the value settled on this component will reflect on Expeditor Tablet as well.
